John, a 1979 mechanical engineering graduate, is chair of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Advisory Board. John also engages with alumni, supports board recruitment for senior volunteers, and spearheads fundraising initiatives for the department. John is also a member of the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering Dean's Boundless Campaign committee.
