Dr. Bernstein has been a committed member of the Innis College family since becoming one of its earliest graduates in 1968. He has dedicated significant time and energy to sharing his experiences with both students and alumni, and by serving as a frequent guest speaker and mentor. Drawing on his experience as a scientist, science leader and President & CEO of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, Alan has mentored students interested in health research and global issues.
