Nan has played a pivotal role in helping complete Canada's contribution to the story of English through her avid volunteer support of the Dictionary of Old English Finance Committee. Her efforts contributed significantly to the successful completion of the five-year challenge grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support this important initiative.
