Lawrence has kept in touch with his fellow graduates in the Faculty of Medicine's Class of '56 throughout his distinguished medical career. In 2006, he created and became webmaster of the first open website for a U of T medical class. His pioneering initiative helped his classmates keep in touch with one another for many years, and the website served as a model for other classes.
