While serving as assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Julian Kuerti helped to plan the musical celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Engineering Science Program in 2009. After three months of planning and rehearsals, he conducted the Skule Orchestra to a sold-out audience at Hart House Theatre in a concert that featured fellow Engineering Science graduate Isabel Bayrakdarian, a renowned soprano.
