Arbor Award 2011 recipient
Wayne Roberts, retired manager of the Toronto Food Policy Council, developed a food security course in the equity studies program at New College. The course generated projects that have placed the University of Toronto at the forefront in supporting local sustainable food systems. Wayne also took a lead role in creating the Global Food Equity Stream Initiative, bringing together faculty, students and community workers on issues related to equity and food security.
