The University of Toronto Women's Association (UTWA), led by President Dr. Maureen Rudzik, was formed in 1982 to promote fellowship throughout the University of Toronto community. The association holds events to welcome new faculty and staff, and UTWA volunteers have raised close to $250,000 for three student bursaries and 12 scholarships by selling roses each year at Spring Convocations since 1985.
