Michael May
Arbor Award 2010 recipient
Michael May, who earned his PhD from the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering in 1998, has been a member of the Chemical Engineering Board of Advisors since its inception in 2002. He has been a strong advocate for improving the links between academic research and industrial development. Michael has spoken regularly to graduate students on the subject, and has sought to foster entrepreneurship among graduate students and researchers. He is also an active class leader for the Chemical Engineering class of 1991.
