2010 Arbor Award Recipients

Michael Herman, a champion of lifelong learning, has been involved with the School of Continuing Studies for more than two decades, first as a student and, since 2007, as an instructor. In addition to teaching, Michael assists with strategic and curriculum development, and participates in marketing, community-building and advancement. In 2009, Michael acted on his belief in the value of high-quality continuing education by establishing the school's first bursary to assist Arts and Science students who want to continue learning, but who are limited by their financial means.
