2010 Arbor Award Recipients

Ian Alexander (MA 1975, Associate Senior Fellow at Massey College) spearheaded creation of the Karen Kieser Prize in Canadian Music. It honours the late Faculty of Music alumna, who went on to become first female Head of Music at CBC Radio and first general manager of Glenn Gould Studio. The cash prize and trophy is awarded annually to a graduate student in composition whose work is judged to be especially promising.
