2010 Arbor Award Recipients

David Poirier, a graduate of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, has been a valuable member of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering alumni community for more than 10 years. After chairing the Industrial Engineering Advisory Board, he joined the MIE Board of Advisors in 2004 and served on it until 2009. David has now founded the MIE Industry Board to help the department better connect with industry to promote research collaboration and partnerships. David has also acted as a volunteer for various career panels and has been a mentor to students.
