Arbor Award 2009 recipient

Since graduating from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, Michael Sullivan has shown tremendous leadership and dedication through his volunteer efforts. For the past six years, Michael has served as a volunteer mentor to new social work graduates. He has also held various executive positions on the faculty's alumni association, including treasurer, vice-president and most recently, president. He has organized a successful forum at U of T on preventing youth violence and has also served as an advisor to an inter-disciplinary group of U of T students conducting a strategic study on a non-profit organization. Michael most recently was a field instructor for the Faculty of Social Work.
