2009 Arbor Award Recipients

John Honderich has been instrumental in the development of a special internship program at New College. The program provides emerging journalists from Rwanda with an opportunity to develop their reporting skills through newspaper and radio placements throughout Southern Ontario. Through his contributions over the past two years, a group of these interns have been able to participate in seminars within New College's African Studies Program. Earlier this year, John was also involved in a series of faculty events commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Rwanda genocide.
