2009 Arbor Award Recipients

Hans van Monsjou is one of those alumni who graduated, but never strayed far from the University of Toronto Mississauga campus. Hans helped establish the UTM Alumni Association and served as its president for four years from 1978 to 1982. One of UTM's greatest advocates and volunteers, Hans has acted as a mentor to students, sitting on career panels and helping with UTM's commerce undergraduate society. Hans was the UTM representative on the committee which launched the Mississauga Citizen of the Year award in 1979. He was also awarded the Paul J. Fox Award for his work with the UTM's alumni. Hans also served as the UTM rep on the College of Electors for two years.
