2009 Arbor Award Recipients

Andy Higgins' passion for coaching and mentoring is palpable, as is his commitment to track and field at the University of Toronto. Andy left an indelible mark on U of T's track and field program as its full-time coach. Under his leadership, U of T won 21 provincial, five men's and one women's Canadian titles, as well as 21 national cross-country team medals (including seven gold). Andy's continues to be a valuable resource to the entire coaching staff at the Faculty of Physical Health and Education, coaching U of T's decathletes, including one who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Andy also volunteers his time as a guest speaker at various faculty events.
