W. Raymond Cummins
Arbor Award 2008 recipient
For 17 years Professor W. Raymond Cummins has volunteered in various leadership roles on Governing Council, its Academic Board and various committees. During these years, he donated more than 1,500 hours to participating in meetings in the Council Chamber. As Chairman of the Board, Raymond presided over such historic recommendations as the framework for three-campus planning, the Stepping Up Academic Plan and the Clinical Faculty Policy. In addition, he donated many hours to serving on several U of T Mississauga committees, including the board of the Student Centre.
