2008 Arbor Award Recipients

Rhona Shulman worked with the External Research Review Committee for the Toronto District School Board, reviewing protocols from university staff, students and other researchers seeking permission to conduct research in Toronto schools. She shared the insight gained from that experience with the U of T Committee on Human Subjects in Research. As a community member of the U of T committee, Rhona helped develop a manual on research guidelines and best practices that has proven invaluable to undergraduate and graduate students.
