Avis Glaze's informed insights have helped strengthen and define the direction of the Dean's Advisory Board at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). She has also been guest editor of Orbit Magazine, OISE's quarterly periodical promoting dialogue among educators. To commemorate OISE's 100th anniversary, Avis also helped chronicle education studies at U of T. She earned her doctorate at OISE in 1980 and continues her involvement through mentorship programs, sharing her expertise in international education with students.
