Peter Murchison
Arbor Award 2007 recipient
A 1974 graduate of the Faculty of Social Work, Peter Murchison has served with the faculty's Alumni Association for more than 11 years. He first volunteered as Chair of the Finance Committee, and then Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. Later, Peter took on the responsibilities of Vice-President. He recently completed two terms as President, from 2000 to 2001, and 2005 to 2007. In addition, Peter has helped the faculty and its students as a volunteer lecturer, field supervisor and mentor.
