Arbor Award 2007 recipient
As President of the University College Alumni Association from 2000 to 2002, Jason Dehni identified the need for a career mentorship program. He advocated for the program until it was recognized in the 2006/2007 academic year. The 1995 graduate then chaired the Mentorship Program Pilot Project, which matched 17 alumni with 17 upper-level students, and also offered career-related roundtables. The project lets alumni give career advice to students who are at a critical decision-making point in their lives.
