2007 Arbor Award Recipients

Barbara Reid served on the 2004 committee that organized the first-ever gala for the newly named Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing. More than 300 people attended the event at the Royal York Hotel. Through ticket sales, a silent auction and sponsorships, Barbara helped raise $95,000. In fact, the talented Barbara Reid was part of the evening's entertainment. Her dedication was inspired, in part, by the late Bluma Appel, a philanthropist who worked hard to better U of T's nursing faculty.
