Lennox Phillips

UTAA TREASURER 2022-2023

(BA 2001 UTM)
Wealth Advisor, RBC Dominion Securities

Lennox is a Wealth Advisor at RBC Wealth Management where he runs a successful practice out of RBC’s head office in Toronto. He enjoys the relationship part of his business and helps individuals and businesses achieve financial goals.

Early in his wealth management career, Lennox wanted to give students interested in wealth management hands-on experience with what professionals in his industry do and so teamed up with the U of T’s Career Center to provide internships for students aspiring to have careers in finance and wealth management.

Lennox credits the University’s melting pot of cultures as being instrumental in helping him develop strong social skills in addition to academic excellence while he was a student. Lennox himself added to that diversity as he was born and grew up in Trinidad and Tobago before attending U of T. As a student, Lennox was active on campus as a writer and news editor for The Medium, UTM’s student paper. He remained actively engaged with U of T after graduating and is a past-president of the UTM Alumni Association and a past member of College of Electors.

In addition to his Honours Bachelor of Arts from U of T, Lennox holds five additional finance specific designations, including the FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute).
