2010 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Michael Beeler has touched many lives through his involvement in Students for International Development, of which he is currently president. As Kenya Project coordinator last year, Michael, who is enrolled in peace and conflict studies, led 18 students on three-month service projects in Kenya, and he will lead 19 more this summer. With his leadership, SID has set up a rural health centre, two feeding programs and a number of microfinance projects. Michael is also co-president of the Peace and Conflict Society at U of T.
