Hear from alumna Anne Maggisano (HBSc ’99, HBA ’05), Vice President and Investment Counsellor at Burgundy Asset Management and Founder of Women of Burgundy, as she shares the story of building an initiative that began with a simple observation: too many women were absent from conversations about investing and wealth.
Over the next decade, Canadian women are expected to inherit more than $1 trillion in wealth, marking a profound shift in who holds, manages and makes decisions about capital. As women take on a greater role in stewarding wealth, the implications extend beyond their own financial well-being to their families, communities and the generations that follow.
Join Anne Maggisano (HBSc ’99, HBA ’05), Vice President and Investment Counsellor at Burgundy Asset Management and Founder of Women of Burgundy, as she shares the story of building an initiative that began with a simple observation: too many women were absent from conversations about investing and wealth. Drawing on more than a decade of work with women and families, Anne will explore how listening closely to the people you serve can reveal unmet needs, how an idea can grow into a platform for change, and how each of us can use our professional lives to create meaningful impact. Following her talk, there will be a 5 minute Q&A.
