Dr. Diptée – 2025/2026 Visiting Public Humanities Faculty Fellow at the Jackman Humanities Institute – will present her latest work Chained in Paradise: How history was used to change the future (A Caribbean Story). In her talk, she explores how power and historical production shaped the twentieth-century Caribbean – and how those narratives continue to influence the region’s future.
