U of T Alumni Relations and University of Toronto Magazine invite alumni and friends to a thought-provoking talk by

Dr. Chelsea Rochman
Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
Faculty of Arts & Science, University of Toronto

Particles of plastic often barely visible to the naked eye are polluting our lakes, rivers and oceans. Using recent insights, this presentation will discuss where the plastic in our water is coming from, how it’s breaking down and what this could mean for the ecosystem. It will also touch on solutions.

Dr. Rochman's presentation is part of an ongoing series of compelling lectures for alumni, hosted at venues across the GTA. U of T in Your Neighbourhood brings the university right into your community, keeping you informed, inspired and connected.
