U of T alumni and friends are invited to an unforgettable brunch with U of T alumnus and Clarifai Founder and CEO, Matthew Zeiler (BASc 2009), and entrepreneur, author, investor and journalist, Ben Parr. The event will feature a fireside chat with Matthew and Ben, a group challenge, networking, and a seasonal and locally sourced meal by sweetgreen. 

Matthew Zeiler is a machine learning Ph.D. and thought leader pioneering the field of applied artificial intelligence. Matt’s groundbreaking research in computer vision alongside renowned machine learning experts, Geoffrey Hinton and Yann LeCun, has propelled the image recognition industry from theory to real-world application.

Ben Parr is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, investor, and journalist. He is the author of the best-selling book Captivology: The Science of Capturing People’s Attention — named the top marketing book of 2015 by Strategy+Business Magazine and Small Business Trends. He is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Octane AI, a tool for building Facebook Messenger marketing campaigns.
