Jeffrey Skoll was made an Officer of the Order of Canada for his “commitment to social causes and innovative practice of philanthropy.”  Skoll is the only Canadian to sign The Giving Pledge in the two years since Bill Gates and Warren Buffett called on the superrich to stop hoarding their wealth.
