Am I eligible for an @alumni.utoronto.ca email account?

If you graduated before 2012, and you are an alumni of the University of Toronto you are eligible to receive this type of alumni email account. More recent graduates will automatically receive an @alum.utoronto.ca account as part of their UTmail+ email service. Please see http://alumni.utoronto.ca/services/alumni-email/ for more information.

Are you phasing out @alumni.utoronto.ca email addresses?

We will eventually cease to create new @alumni.utoronto.ca email accounts, but we will continue to support all of our existing @alumni.utoronto.ca users. The reason for this change is that the University of Toronto selected Microsoft Live.edu as the provider for all student and alumni email in 2011, following extensive consultations with students and the academic community.

All graduates since 2012 are automatically granted an @alum.utoronto.ca address after convocation. In the future, any graduate of U of T will be able to request and receive an @alum.utoronto.ca address. At that time, we will no longer be creating new @alumni.utoronto.ca addresses.
