From a PhD in education at OISEUT in 1994 and a Masters degree in 1990 to a Fulbright U.S. Scholarship to China in summer 2015 to explore radical conceptions and practices of learning in an era of high-stakes standardized testing, Dr. Carol A. Mullen of Virginia Tech is a global spanner. As an OISEUT alumnus, this award-winning professor of educational leadership and curriculum studies has been highly prolific and productive. As examples, she has authored and edited 20 scholarly books and over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Mullen has served in the elected capacity as President of the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration. She is currently serving on the Kappa Delta Pi Presidential Commission and is Chapter Founder/Executive Director.
