The Arbor Awards were created by the University of Toronto in 1989 to recognize volunteers for their outstanding personal service to the University. Since then, the University has annually acknowledged those alumni and friends whose loyalty, dedication and generosity have added immeasurably to the quality of the University of Toronto experience for students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Individuals are nominated for the award, which can be granted for contributions to specific constituencies, or to the university at large. Sponsored by University Advancement, the award ceremony takes place each September at the President’s official residence at 93 Highland Ave.

We’re proud to honour the efforts of alumni who enhance the U of T experience for students, faculty, staff and other alumni.
